Experteer Overview
In this role you contribute to building scalable software by shaping requirements, architecture, and design within MED-EL’s R&D team. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align goals, define backlogs, and support testing and releases. You help ensure secure, high-quality software modules and documentation that advance MED-EL’s mission to improve hearing outcomes. This position offers hands-on impact in a global, innovative medical-device environment.

Aufgaben
- Contribute to requirement engineering, software architecture, design, reviews, and documentation of efficient, scalable software modules
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional development teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Define and maintain product backlog items aligned with project goals and priorities
- Specify system and acceptance tests and support the test team in test creation and execution
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases and sprints with stakeholders and development teams
- Ensure software quality and security considerations throughout development
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong Software Engineering background with at least five years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in C++ and C#
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Jira or similar tools
- Good knowledge of Cyber Security
- Very good English skills; German is a plus
- Strong stakeholder management and independent, precise working style
