In this role you lead validation for our next-gen access control ecosystem, bridging hardware, firmware, and cloud validation. You design end-to-end test strategies that cover hardware-to-cloud interactions and oversee advanced HIL automation to ensure secure, reliable performance. You’ll mentor engineers and help embed testability early in product design. This is a hands-on leadership role at a company focused on safer communities, offering impact across hardware and software domains.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for hardware-to-cloud validation
Develop sophisticated hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) automation frameworks
Debug complex issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol sniffers
Validate and stress-test communication protocols (RS-485, Ethernet/IP, BLE, NFC, UWB)
Test network stacks, TLS/X.509 handling, and data integrity across deployments
Mentor junior engineers and promote testability in product design (DFT/DFM)

Zentrale Anforderungen

7+ years in firmware development, embedded systems, or firmware validation
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience with C/C++, RTOS, interrupt handling, and memory management
Expert-level Python for scalable test automation
Knowledge of serial/networked interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, RS-485)
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, DMMs)
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
