In this role you will provide on-site repair, preventive maintenance, and installation services for Lam etch/clean/deposition equipment at customer sites. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and implement ECO-driven updates. You’ll diagnose equipment issues, perform troubleshooting, and carry out start-up and relocation activities to ensure reliable performance. This position offers hands-on field work, international travel, and opportunities to shape service delivery in a global manufacturing environment. You will be a key face of Lam, helping customers maximize uptime and optimize their processes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Install and relocate equipment at customer sites and conduct start-up/check-out activities
Provide on-site preventive maintenance and warranty/paid service to minimize downtime
Coordinate service actions with customers and cross-functional teams
Troubleshoot malfunctions, diagnose issues, and determine corrective actions
Perform field modifications or updates per ECOs, including assemblies and subsystems
Carry out Tier 2 process qualification work
Maintain accurate service records, part usage, and diagnostic updates
Represent the company professionally and identify new service opportunities with customers
Maintain and secure tools, equipment, and spare parts
Manage ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent experience
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to engage customers on technical solutions
Willingness for short-term overseas assignments
Swing shift flexibility and travel readiness (domestic and international)
Proficiency in interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals
Ability to work in a clean room and wear PPE
Physical ability to perform field tasks5
On-call standby readiness (rostered 24/7)
