Experteer Overview

In this role you will design and maintain data models to enable customer-centric decision-making while also applying hands-on data engineering to implement scalable pipelines. You will work within the CRM Data team to translate business needs into robust data structures and governance across systems. You’ll balance modeling excellence with practical production deployment and data quality improvements. This opportunity lets you shape data solutions for a major retail organization and collaborate across functions to drive insights.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models focused on customer and CRM data
Implement historization techniques (SCD-1, SCD-2, etc.) to track data changes over time
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data structures
Build and optimize data pipelines and transformation workflows to support models and data quality
Ensure data consistency, lineage, and governance across systems and domains
Continuously improve and refactor data models to evolving needs and standards
Contribute to development of data modeling and engineering best practices
Support data engineers during implementation

Zentrale Anforderungen

Strong experience in data modeling (dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization, historization)
Solid understanding of data engineering principles and production deployment of data models
Hands-on ability to design, build, and troubleshoot end-to-end data solutions
Experience with large datasets and complex data ecosystems
Familiarity with modern data platforms/tools (Snowflake, dbt, GCP, Airflow) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Retail or CRM sector experience is a nice-to-have
High personal responsibility and quick learner in a fast-paced environment
