In this Senior Accountant role, you will ensure accurate, compliant financial operations for Austria within the regional hub. You partner with cross-functional teams to drive transparency and robust reporting under IFRS and local rules, while strengthening ICFR and coordinating audits. You’ll oversee service delivery from the Shared Service Center and pursue continuous process improvements. This position combines regional scope with hands-on accounting excellence to support sustainable business success.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Ensure timely and accurate financial statements for Austria
Oversee statutory, tax, and customs audits with internal and external stakeholders
Secure implementation of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
Act as a business partner for regional stakeholders to drive collaboration and transparency
Monitor Shared Service Center service delivery and ensure high-quality execution
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and best practices
Stay updated on IFRS and local regulations to ensure compliance and high reporting standards

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
8-12 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Experience in multi-country accounting environments or regional setups
Proficiency in SAP and Trintech Cadency
Experience with shared service delivery models
Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and business acumen to identify risks and opportunities
Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
