Experteer Overview

In this role you will design and develop innovative metrological solutions from concept to series production, collaborating with cross-functional teams across our international network. You will translate concepts into functional parts, assemblies, and complete instruments, while driving prototypes to scalable production. Verantwortungsbereiche

Concept development to solve complex metrological challenges
Design of parts and assemblies up to complete measuring instruments
Analytical and simulation-based design of components
Create production-ready drawings and maintain master data
Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, assembly, service, and product management
Assemble, verify, and optimize prototypes for functionality
Support transition from prototypes to series production and provide technical serial support
Act as liaison between international subsidiaries and headquarters

Zentrale Anforderungen

Completed higher technical education (HTL, UAS, TU) in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
In-depth knowledge of materials science, design and manufacturing technologies
Experience in design for manufacturing (turning, milling, sheet metal, etc.)
Basic understanding of mechatronic aspects desirable
Proficient handling of 3D CAD tools such as Creo or similar
Enthusiasm for metrology and sensor technology
Willingness to spend several years abroad at international subsidiaries after onboarding
Independent, precise, and quality-oriented working style
Strong team spirit, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
Knowledge of French is an advantage
