Experteer Overview
In this role you will build high-quality firmware for a global pet-technology leader, with a focus on GNSS systems. You will optimize for power, accuracy, and data performance, owning features from concept to deployment. Collaboration with Architecture and cross-functional teams will drive project outcomes, while you contribute to process improvements and ongoing personal growth. Your work will shape how tracking and positioning technology enhances pet safety and health. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role in a dynamic, international team.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop top-tier firmware for GNSS-focused systems
- Continuously optimize code for power efficiency and data performance
- Own features end-to-end from concept to real-world deployment
- Collaborate with Architecture and cross-functional teams (Backend, QA, Support)
- Drive projects independently and contribute to process improvements
- Introduce fresh ideas to improve the product and engineering culture
- Pursue ongoing personal and professional growth through workshops and initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of embedded firmware experience with hands-on GNSS exposure
- Practical experience with GNSS chipsets and protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions
- Very good English skills
- Interest in hardware, embedded systems, and satellite positioning technology
- Analytical, hands-on, self-starter attitude
- Ability to take full ownership of complex projects
- Motivation for learning, innovation, and mentoring others
- Willingness to work in Austria with an international team
