Experteer Overview
In this role you will develop world-class embedded firmware for GPS trackers, focusing on GNSS to enhance tracking accuracy and battery life. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate real-world GNSS insights into firmware improvements. You will work with an international team in Austria, driving innovation and process improvements while growing professionally.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop embedded firmware powering GPS trackers with focus on GNSS (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou)
- Own features from concept to real-world performance
- Collaborate with in-house Architects to implement new firmware features
- Work with Backend, Tech Support, and QA to drive projects forward
- Analyze GNSS/GPS performance in real scenarios and optimize firmware
- Participate in retrospectives and improve development processes
- Contribute ideas to improve Tractive and grow professionally
- Engage in workshops and take ownership of development areas
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 4+ years of hands-on embedded firmware development
- Deep understanding of GNSS principles, protocols, and standards
- Hands-on experience with GNSS chipsets and modules
- Experience with version control and Clean Code / Unit Testing
- Track record in larger firmware projects within SCRUM-based, cross-functional teams
- Very good English skills
