Experteer Overview
As a strategic leader in Event Management, you drive the planning, execution, and profitability of events across planning, banquets, service, and technology. You will align departmental strategies with the brand’s service initiatives and property goals, ensuring seamless turnover from sales to operations and back. You’ll work within the Executive Committee to deliver exceptional experiences for the brand’s target customers while advancing employee satisfaction and revenue growth. This role offers impact through brand-aligned event strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement Event Management strategy aligned with brand and business goals
- Oversee Operations including Banquets, Event Services and Event Technology
- Coordinate with culinary to ensure food handling and sanitation standards
- Lead event planning team (BEO/Resume writers) and ensure clean, maintained meeting spaces and equipment
- Drive brand service initiatives and ensure on-brand service for all events
- Manage budgets, evaluate competition, and optimize profitability
- Collaborate with HR on compliance, staffing, and emergency procedures
- Ensure effective communication across event operations and maintain vendor relationships to enhance experience
Zentrale Anforderungen
- At least two years of experience in event sales and group reservations
- Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional languages a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and Opera
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Austria
- Enjoyment of sales and customer contact
